Marilyn Pesto, J.D., R.N., M.S.N.
Ms. Pesto is a knowledgeable trial lawyer who is also accomplished in the medical field. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama, Birmingham and her Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Ms. Pesto went on to graduate from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1981. She is the founder of the Pesto Law Firm, and her practice areas include medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, products liability, and drug and pharmaceutical claims.
Ms. Pesto is highly respected in the medical-legal community by lawyers who represent injured parties and also by lawyers who represent doctors, nurses, and hospitals. She has been awarded the highest rating for her legal ability and ethics by the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory. This rating is based on how other lawyers and judges have confidentially evaluated her ability and ethics. Ms. Pesto is also a frequently requested mediator and lecturer, and she has authored numerous publications and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, School of Medicine for more than 13 years.

Ryan Terril, J.D.
With more than 10 years of practice devoted to protecting the rights of injury victims, Mr. Ryan Terril is an experienced trial lawyer. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business, and went on to graduate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law. He worked for several years as an associate trial attorney with The Law Offices of Samuel K. Cullan, M.D., J.D. and Associates before founding The Terril Law Firm in 1996. His practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, and products liability.
Mr. Terril is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and he is a member of a number of distinguished legal organizations, including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Kansas Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and Clay County Bar Association.
Mark D. Lewis, J.D.
A skillful trial attorney devoted to protecting injury victims, Mr. Mark D. Lewis first gained experience representing large insurance companies. Mr. Lewis graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and went on to earn his Law Degree from Creighton University School of Law. After working as an insurance defense attorney with Payne and Jones for several years, he founded The Law Office of Mark D. Lewis in 1986. He practices primarily in the areas of catastrophic injury, car accidents, semi truck wrecks, drunk driving wrecks, wrongful death, and products liability.
Mr. Lewis’ office has been located in the First Kansas Bank building in Gardner, Kansas for more than 10 years. He has successfully represented hundreds of injury victims and has frequently teamed up with Dr. Sam Cullan and Dr. Gene Cullan on semi-truck wreck, birth injury, and railroad accident cases to obtain million dollar plus settlements on behalf of his clients. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Lewis has served the community as the City Attorney for Edgertown, Kansas for many years.
Mr. Lewis is licensed to practice law in both the state and federal courts of Kansas. He is also admitted to practice in the Western District of Missouri.
